Sonic is at it again!  Fresh off his retro foray into SEGA’s old-school library of video game gems, the blue bomber is giving those old red sneakers a break.   He’s putting the pedal to the metal along with a few of his SEGA buddies in Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing.

The Sonic and SEGA universes are visually rich and varied, and this is a big part of the design of the tracks and vehicles found in this new racing game.  Dr. Eggman races with a monster truck of sorts, Tails with a plane and AiAi races with the obvious choice: a banana mobile.

Over the top characters, with over the top vehicles, racing in over the top courses are bound to get into some over the top action with each other.  Over the top…of something (or someone).  Each character has an All Star move to help them get back into the race or to crush the opposition a little harder.  Collect power ups and weapons around the tracks in single or multiplayer modes; four player offline splitscreen (thank you!) or up to eight players online.
