Hitting the US Store yesterday, PopCap’s Heavy Weapon is an old-school arcade style shooter with some strategic elements thrown in for good measure.

Players assault enemies across 19 stages, going up against some challenging end level bosses along the way. Embodying the role of “Atomic Tank”, expect to pick up awesome power-ups from friends as you attempt to find top secret Big Cheese “Boss Blitz”.

Trophies, unlockable weapons and a survival mode are also on offer but if you want to know what it actually looks like – check out the perfunctory gallery below.

There is no current information regarding when Heavy Weapon will grace European shores but, considering it’s priced at $9.99 for our American brethren, expect a similar price tag in euro (you can take a guess at its sterling equivalent – £5.99? £6.29?)
