Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 delayed

Submitted by on Monday, 22 June 20093 Comments
Speaking through the spooky medium of Twitter, Capcom have confirmed that those of us barely containing our lust for stabbing Ryu in the face with our adamantium claws are simply going to have to wait a little longer than expected. Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 is a little under-cooked and needs further time in the development oven.
Originally planned for a June release we are now told that the PSN title will not see the light of day “until late July at the earliest.” We can’t help but feel that this delay may have something to do with the negative reaction some people had towards the recent demo. We’ll never know of course but we find it incredulous to believe considering the game has been painstakingly ported from the favoured Dreamcast version, has better graphics than ever beford and has even finally dumped the obnoxious “jazz score”.
How did you find the recent demo? Did you find it at all? Answers in the comment section please.

We know – we’re gutted too, but it appears Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 is a little under-cooked and needs further time in the development oven. Or has Sony’s onerous publishing process struck again? After all, Capcom also refer to how “digital release dates can be tricky” in their tweet.
