On Tuesday we saw North America get Final Fantasy VII, arguably one of the best games ever made, and now another iconic PSOne classic has been given confirmation to hit the PlayStation Store.

Metal Gear Solid has been announced by Konami to be landing onto the North America store on June 18th, that’s in two weeks time.

Sadly no announcement for the game to jump over the pond onto European shores yet, however we have seen Final Fantasy VII appear today just two days after North America so there’s still hope for it arriving in Europe sometime in the near future.

So make sure your wallet is ready, your hard drive space/memory stick has enough space, and prepare yourself to go back in time eleven years to 1998 retro gaming.
