Konami announce more MGO content; Shadow Moses Redux
Welcome back. You're a regular here, so why not follow us on Twitter too...
Following up from the recent bikini-mod, Konami continue to roll out the Metal Gear Online content during their week of anniversary celebrations.
This time we get Old Snake as a new playable character along with the handy Octo-cam suit rendering him invisible to opponents. Well, not entirely invisible, that just wouldn’t be fair. You will blend in to your surrounding environment however.
We also get a new map in the form of the contradictory sounding Icebound Inferno. A re-imagining of Shadow Moses from the Metal Gear Solid game on ye olde PS1, the new battle-ground consits of an Arctic Island, a wide open snow-space and a collection of buildings. The map is said to be best suited for “medium-to long-range combat.”
Finally, the download will also include an Auto Matching Reward system that sees the match-winner collect a larger share of the points than normal. In fact, when playing an individual match in this mode, only the winner receives reward points at all with the rest of the “losers” getting nothing. Harsh, but fair.
Players must already have the SCENE pack to avail of this new content.
And no, still no sign of those trophies.

[...] no trophies though – but we’re hearing that a lot lately. Subscribe to the comments for this post?Email this to a friend?Share this on FacebookTweet [...]
