North American PS Store Update For June 11th – The Ultra Big One

Not to be outdone by Europe, the North American store update is even bigger. It may not have Vidzone, but it does have the likes of three new downloadable titles, another PSOne classic, a couple of demos, and an uncountable number of add-on content.
There is the Killzone 2 Flash and Thunder pack, Burnout Paradise Big Surf Island expansion, the second Call of Duty: WAW map pack, and much much more.

This was a very meaty update. I’m definitely getting the KZ2 expansion and the Burnout Surf Island. I’m also eyeing Bomberman and the Last Guy expansion.

Burnout Surf Island acquired. Ive only had an hour or so on it up to now, but the first impressions are very good. This expansion may even be worth the money!
I got the Heavy weapon Demo and i loved it, i want to get it but ill have to wait until it comes onto the UK store.

It think the problem he would have with purchasing off an “alternate” PSN ID that’s not his region is he would need a valid credit card matching the address he used to create that USPSN ID. Or he would need to add money from a PSN card, which then could only be used for that account. I think he’s better off waiting for the UK release.
oh right thats what i needed to know too, i am assuming a psn card would work just fine, all you do is redeem a code right?
Yes, you just redeem a code and it add the balance to your account. But like I said, if you have a US account once you redeem it, it can only be used for that account.
Is that right Lcaruna. Is purchasing stuff different from downloading demos and videos, all oof which are present and working when downloaded from a US account and view on the Uk account on the same machine.
I was looking into asking a friend to bring over a psn card.
Maybe the fuss ain’t worth it, better to simply wait.
I’m sorry if my post was a bit confusing. I meant the money from the PSN Card can only be used for the account it’s redeemed on. What ever you purchase should also work with your UK account on the same machine. Although you need to be careful because there are some items which can not be used with your UK account. I.E. LBP costumes. And if I remember correctly, Warhawk will only work with the PSNID used to purchase it. I’m not sure if there are any other games that are also limited like that.
