PAIN dated and priced for Blu-ray release

Submitted by on Tuesday, 16 June 20094 Comments

painA little while ago we gave news that PAIN will be getting a Blu-ray release in Europe this month. However, no specific date or price was given.

SCEE Product manager for PAIN on the European PlayStation Blog has now revealed all the details on the Blu-ray release for people who have yet to dive into the wonderful world of character catapulting on the PS3.

With a price of £19.99/€24.99, the game will be releasing in mainland Europe on Wednesday 24th June, followed by a release in Australia and New Zealand the next day, and then the UK and Ireland on Friday 26th June.

Every single environment out so far will be in the game including Downtown, Movie Studios, Abusement Tank and Sore Spots.

A bunch of familiar characters will also be there but of course more will be available from the PlayStation Store including David Hasslehoff.

The Blu-ray release will be very good for people with poor internet connections, low download limits, prefer a copy of the game in their hands, or simply for people who haven’t got a PSN account.

This release into retail stores should give a lot more people the opportunity to enjoy this great game, and perhaps will be enough to persuade more cameo appearances from famous celebrities!
