Forgive us the indulgence but, now that Bethesda have committed to releasing DLC for Fallout 3 on the PS3, we just can’t help ourselves from bringing any new information about the packs to your attention.

After all, the last time we spoke about Fallout 3 we were talking about how the post-apocalyptic RPG had picked up certain Game of the Year Awards. And then … nothing.

Point Lookout is the fourth of five DLC packs scheduled for the game and will hit the PS3 after all previously 360-exclusive offerings, Operation: Anchorage, The Pitt and Broken Steel are released. The first pack, the aforementioned Operation: Anchorage, will be available later this month.

The fifth and what we assume to be the final pack – the alien themed Mothership Zeta – will be out sometime after Point Lookout.
