Welcome back. You're a regular here, so why not follow us on Twitter too...

echochrome logo PS3 version of echochrome update to ver 1.02 coming soonJune 18 marks a special day for our little black and white dimension defying friend as echochrome will be receiving an update to version 1.02. The last time the game was updated, we received trophy support. This time, we will see the ability to share our creations with the world…

Version 1.02 brings Cloud to the world of echochrome. No, Final Fantasy is not being integrated into the game, although how cool would that be? Instead, users will be able to upload their level creations to the server and download others, sorta like LittleBigPlanet. You’ll be able to search for specific levels if you like along with looking at the Staff Picks if you want to try out what the developers are playing.

In addition to playing other people’s works of art, you can upload completed level replays directly to YouTube. Even better is the ability to use the PlayStation Eye and capture yourself playing the level for that perfect picture-in-picture viewing. It’s the easiest way to become an internet sensation!

That’s not all we’ll be getting in this update. There will also be DTS Sound Support, custom soundtrack support, and updated Trophy Icons. Check out the video to see the PnP feature in action although we have no idea what they are saying. Japanese isn’t our forte.
