Tales of Vesperia dated for Japan
After enjoying an extended stay on the 360, we’ve known for a while now that Namco Bandai’s RPG ship-jumper Tales of Vesperia was coming this fall for the PS3.
Not content with a vague seasonal release date, we know now that the latest edition in the colourful Tales series is coming, to Japan at least, on September 17th.
The PS3 version is an enhanced and extended version of the original game. As stated in our April news item, the PS3 release will support full voice acting, sports a new playable character, Patty Fleur, and contains more events, “sub-scenarios”, assorted content and ties to the prequel movie.
A Western release is still to be confirmed but, considering we got Eternal Sonata a number of months (depending on your region) after its Japanese release, here’s hoping Tales of Vesperia on PS3 gets jammed into many North American and European Christmas stockings this year.
