It looks like the aliens have been busy in the baby making department as a whole new breed has spawned thanks to the folks over at Team17. The upcoming Alien Breed Evolution is a remake of the classic game originally released on the Amiga in 1991.

The game will feature fast paced action via single player and co-op. You must navigate your way through corridors and hallways in search of the lift down to the next level, all the while blasting though enemy aliens.

In many ways, the game is compared to the Gauntlet series with its top down perspective and gameplay. Although there is no word on which platforms Aliens Breed Evolution will appear on, we imagine that the PS3 will be one of them.
