Assassin’s Creed 2: Black and White Editions

Submitted by on Tuesday, 28 July 20095 Comments

AC2_BEfWe suspect most people will be buying Assassin’s Creed 2 when it hits this Fall, judging by the popularity of the game steadily increasing over the past few months.

From AC: Bloodlines on the PSP having some crossovers with the PS3 game to Ubisoft plugging the game in “all platforms and mediums that could support [their] franchises“, it would appear that the world is slowly going Assassin’s Creed bonkers.

Now it has been revealed that special editions of the game will be available for pre-order.

What do you get in these?

Well, the White Edition is apparently the same price as the standard edition when you pre-order it, according to our friends over at

It comes with an Ezio figurine, the game’s lead standing in the awesome pose seen on the cover of the box. On top of that, you get access to one bonus mission. Not bad for the same price as the regular edition, if you ask us.

The Black Edition clocks in at £69.99, and packs in a whole lot more: Ezio figurine in black garb, ‘Conspiracy Book’ hardback collectible book, bonus DVD/soundtrack, collector’s box and an additional 3 missions… phew!

The late, great Michael Jackson summed it up best: “it don’t matter if you’re black or white”. This game will rock either way.

You can find images of the two editions below.
