Burnout’s Big Surf Island is full of eggs
Welcome back to PS3 Attitude. You're a regular here, so why not visit PS3 Attitude TV too...
Criterion have released details of a raft of hidden gems in their recently released Big Surf Island expansion for Burnout Paradise.
We’ve spent a little time on the island recently here at Attitude Towers and whilst we hadn’t noticed anything in particular (since we spend most of our time driving everywhere at full speed), we’re certainly liking the new space.
Now that Criterion have told us there’s more to Big Surf than meets the eye, we might have to slow down.
Criterion have hidden Easter Eggs all over Big Surf Island in the signage for various buildings, businesses and roads.
In their own words:
“If you’re a Brit who grew up in the 1970′s and 80′s, or a whizz at Wikipedia, you’ll definitely have an advantage, as a lot of the references are quite obscure (but they made us laugh!).” – ‘Auntie Rich’, Criterion Games.
Criterion want you to get involved and tell them what you find.
If you spot a reference somewhere on the new island, drop them an email to mailbag [at] criteriongames [dot] com with ‘Auntie Rich’s Big Surf Easter Egg Hunt’ in the subject line.
Feel free to tell us what you find in the comments too – we can achieve so much more working as a team!
