Demon’s Souls pre-order bonuses plus NA Deluxe Edition

Welcome back. You're a regular here, so why not follow us on Twitter too...

Demon's SoulsAnnounced today, Atlus U.S.A. Inc. will not only release the standard edition of so-hard-it-will-make-you-cry Demon’s Souls in North America this fall, but also a deluxe special edition.

For those who pre-order the title, both editions of the game feature an exclusive bonus art book (at participating retailers – which aren’t mentioned at this time) while the deluxe version, planned to retail at a full $10 more than the standard edition at $69.99, will also see a 150+ strategy guide added to the spoils.

What we find most intriguing in the release is how Atlus actually mentions the deluxe edition’s extra cost is still “less than it costs to import the game.”

Considering the majority of the Japanese version is in English, and the importing impatient out there have already enjoyed the onerous romp, could Atlus be a tad concerned about the number of packages from Japan flying over to Pacific Ocean of late?

Pre-orders start on July 8th with the game released on October 6th.

Certain aspects of this game intrigue me. The way the online side of things works sounds very interesting.

Have people that have imported this been able to utilise the online side of things?
