Warner Bros. and Monolith Studios have announced four extra single-player levels as part of a new DLC pack for F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin.

Entitled Reborn, the new levels will coincide with the events from the retail game and see players face the wrath of Alma from a new perspective.

Taking on the role of Replica soldier Foxfrot813 as part of an orbital Powered Armor drop, gamers are assured that “nothing is as it seems.”

Is it ever?

Beginning in the ruined city of Auburn, Foxtrot813 will have to go against orders from Replica command in order to uncover the mysteries surrounding the destroyed city and its supernatural events.

Also coming as a “free title update”, the Slow-Mo Deathmatch ability is described as a slow motion powerup to hinder opponents in multiplayer deathmatch mode. Slow them down and then take them out but be warned: whoever has this handy ability will obviously draw a lot of attention from others.

The Reborn pack will be available to purchase on September 3rd with a demo planned for August 27th.
