Last week we posted up some new cut-scene footage from Uncharted 2: Among Thieves. This week, it’s time to get a look at some actual new gameplay action taken from the Heart of Ice level.

Taking place after the meeting with Karl Schafer, Drake and his sherpa guide have taken to the gelid Himalayas in search of — whatever Drake is looking for this time.

The footage is a perfect showcase of Uncharted’s sublime platforming elements. Watch as Drake swings, climbs, leaps and generally freezes his ass off as he traverses a beautiful and dangerous mountain environment.

Drake’s the man – if anything for his uncanny ability to grasp on to icy ledges with ease and not slide to his demise. We wish we could do that.
