For those of you who want to go into Uncharted 2: Among Thieves fresh, look away now.
For the rest of you esurient hounds tearing the web asunder in the search for new footage of the game, we’ve got something you may want to see.
Released by Naughty Dog, and now available on GameTrailers, the new cut-scene features Drake and companion meeting up with “old guy with information” Karl Schafer to discuss the mythical kingdom of Shambhala and the Cintamani Stone.
The footage is rich and what you might expect from the wizards at Naughty Dog. Among the sublime animations, shadows and textures, one thing that definitely strikes us is just how good the lip-synching is.
Finally, if Karl’s voice sounds vaguely familiar, you’re listening to Rene Auberjonois; better known as Odo from Deep Space Nine. Or Paul from Boston Legal if you’re less into sci-fi and more a legal drama kinda guy/gal.
