TurboGrafx games sneak their way onto the PSN…in Japan
The PSN has a ton of content from the classic PlayStation games to even PlayStation Portable ones. Today marks a new step for the network as PC Engine, aka TurboGrafx to us, games have been added for your playing pleasure.
The titles to appear are Bomberman ’94, New Adventure Island (Takahashi Meijin no Shin Boukenjima), Sengoku Mahjong, and Devil Crush. While they are currently only available on the Japanese PSN for Â¥600, we imagine that this could become a more worldwide occurrence.
Or maybe not. There are plenty of PSN services that have stayed region specific; US Video Store, Vidzone for Europe, etc. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see if any of these titles make it out to the rest of us.
While Sony has stated to expect more titles from the TurboGrafx to hit the Japanese store, they have yet to mention the possibility of any other platforms coming. So, what TurboGrafx games would you like to see on the PSN? Better yet, do you even remember the TurboGrafx?
