You’ve likely seen similar Assassin’s Creed II footage from its E3 showing, but have you seen Ezio climb onto the rooftops of Venice while narrated by a German?

The one minute and forty-three seconds of video captured on the floor at Gamescom begins with Ezio knifing a startled enemy before calmly pushing his way through a masquerade party and then up on to the roofs of the city.

Apart from the dazzling detail on display, we think Ezio moves a little quicker than his ancestor Altair.

He probably has that Mediterranean diet to thank.
