Borderlands DLC “will surprise”; 100+ hours of quests available
Speaking to Eurogamer, Gearbox president Randy Pitchford reckons gamers are going to be somewhat surprised at what Borderlands’ DLC has to offer.
Waiting in the wings to see how players react to the game, the Gearbox head honcho is promising that gamers’ reactions to the title will dictate how they will proceed with upcoming downloadable content already in development.
And if the bazillion weapon combinations isn’t enough to spend your time on, the game also has more content than you could shake a gimp-mask wearing mutant at.
The ever-enthusiastic Pitchford claims:
“We’re going to watch and see what happens when the game launches, so we can have our plans affected by what our customers want more of but we do have some plans for the initial stuff already in motion, and I’ll be announcing that soon.”
Borderlands went down a storm at Gamescom with many onlookers impressed with its unique visual style (for an FPS) and deep weapon customisation on offer. Pitchford also claims that there is over 100 hours of content and quests contained within the game for the completists out there who want to experience everything.
That’s a whole lot of Mad Max inspired anarchy right there folks.
