Braid coming to the PSN

Welcome back. You're a regular here, so why not follow us on Twitter too...

BraidPopping up on German ratings website USK, it appears that indie puzzle-platformer and time-bending mega-hit Braid is finally making its way to the PSN.

Lauded over in XBL-land as one of games of the year (that would be last year), you may recall our insightful interview with designer Jonathan Blow where he candidly spoke his mind regarding future outings for his successful game. With talk of exclusivity deals and expiration dates, it would appear the game is finally on its way for PS3 owners.

Quaintly quoted as a “jump and run” game, USK – the German equivalent to PEGI – correctly states that Hothead Games are developing the port but mentions nothing further in relation to a launch date or how much it will ultimately cost. Considering Sony’s well-documented release procedure, don’t be surprised if Braid is still some time away.

We’ve contacted Hothead for more details and took the opportunity to catch-up with Mr. Blow himself. (He’s fine, thanks for asking). We’ll keep you posted when we hear more.
