Gamescom is dead, long live Tokyo Game Show!
Gamescom has come and gone and will go down as a resounding, and memorable, success.
Memorable not just because of all the German beer we consumed over the course of the week, but an event that will stay in the minds of many gamers as the day Sony kick-started the console race with the introduction of the PS3 Slim.
Now that Gamescom is over, we look forward to the third big event on the gaming calendar, the Tokyo Game Show.
Held at the Makuhari Messe, in Chiba (which is in Tokyo, naturally), TGS takes place this year between the 24th and 27th of September. Want to know just some of the games that will be on display?
Here’s a partial list of just some of the PS3 games that will be gracing the TGS show floor next month.

We should stress that this list, made available by show organiser CESA and reported over at IGN, features just a mere snippet of the games that will be showcased at the Japanese event.
It does give you an idea of what’s in store come September though.
