LittleBigPlanet GOTY Back LittleBigPlanet GOTY edition content revealedRemember when we showed you the box art for the upcoming Game of the Year edition of LittleBigPlanet and also told you of it’s $30 worth of extra goodies? Well we now we have the exclusive BACK of the boxart for your viewing pleasure. Oh, and what’ll be included in this edition as well, but that’s not important, right?

In addition to the normal storymode and user generated content, Media Molecule have hand-picked 18 amazing artists to create bonus levels specifically for the game. Not only will their level be featured in the game but you’ll also be able to watch interviews with each on their creation.

18 new levels is hardly worth $30 so to spice things up, the following downloadable packs will be included on the disc:

  • Metal Gear Solid Level Pack – featuring the “Paintinator” paintball gun
  • Metal Gear Solid Costumes
  • Monsters Costumes
  • Monsters Pack
  • History Costumes
  • History Pack
  • Animals Costumes

Obviously, Metal Gear Solid is the big hitter of the show in addition to the many extra costumes and objects to create unique levels of your very own. If all of the above wasn’t good enough, the developers have topped it all off with a giant cherry; a voucher for the upcoming ModNation Racers Beta!

Now that’s a Game of the Year. If you’re one of the handful of people who don’t own LittleBigPlanet yet, this will be the perfect time to buy. As for the rest of us, do you think the content is worth the price for a second purchase, especially if you don’t have any of the DLC packs? Let us know in the comments.
