Military Madness: Nectaris set for a turn on the PSN
Popping up over at the official US blog (we have to differentiate it now from its European cousin, how cool is that?) Kyle Vincent Tunison, Designer at Backbone Entertainment, has revealed that cult classic Military Madness (Nectaris in Japan) is on its way to the PS3.
Ingeniously, they’ve called it Military Madness: Nectaris.
Based on one of the first turn-based strategy games ever, Military Madness: Nectaris enables players to face-off against a number of opponents. Each faction then orchestrates a strategic advantage over the others by maneuvering over 20 different unit types across various terrains using turn-based play.
Unlike Command & Conquer and other RTS type games, Military Madness: Nectaris doesn’t bog people down with the bothersome annoyance of resource gathering, with opposing factories capable of being captured and used to another opponent’s advantage.
