nfsshiftlogoprimaryrgb UPDATED New Need For Speed: Shift TrailerSeptember 15th.

Write it down, staple it to your pin board, write it on your forehead in permanent marker. Just don’t let that date slip passed. Because that’s when NFS:Shift hits the shelves.

What’s more, we’ve got a sparky new trailer for the game to commemorate the occasion.

We wrote about the new NFS game a while back, but had limited information on it at the time. Now we know more… there are about a million cars in the game* along with 18 tracks, for starters!.

With the promise of cockpit-view crash sequences to disorientate the player, subtle changes in road surfaces and their effect along with some super-realistic graphics, it is safe to say that we are getting more excited about the game the more we find out.

The trailer up top showcases the BMW you get if you pre-order through GameStop, as well as showing off that sweet, sweet cockpit view. There’s even a dirver in the car! icon wink UPDATED New Need For Speed: Shift Trailer

From what we have seen of the game so far in both trailers and screenies, it is shaping up to be pretty awesome! Day one purchase?

We’ll be the first to let you know…

**UPDATE: Following an email from EA, we are able to clarify the release dates for NFS:Shift. The game will hit NA Territories this September 15th. The UK will get the game on September 18th, whilst the rest of the EU are wedged between these two dates on the 17th.**

*OK, not quite a million but hey – 67 cars looks like a million at first glance.
