Need for Speed Shift is the latest in the long-running franchise from EA. And whilst various versions of the game haven’t always hit the right spot, the new edition certainly seems to be rustling a few feathers.

Whilst much of the marketing for this game thus far has centred around the real-life drivers that helped shape the game, we now get to see some actual screenshots.

And we think GT5 might be feeling a little nervous…

Not only do these screens look gorgeous, it is the sheer symbolism of choosing to release images of a Gran Turismo classic, the Nissan Skyline 2000 GTR, that really caught our attention.
