Rockstar deny existence of GTA IV episodes for PS3

Rockstar has now come out and voiced their response to the news that GTA IV: Lost and the Damned may be in fact coming to the PlayStation 3 and is playable at Gamescom.
This comes after a moderator at the European PlayStation forums appeared to mention the existence of the game at the convention in Germany.
Speaking to VG247, a representative from the developer had this outright denial of the claim:
The Lost and Damned and The Ballad of Gay Tony are both exclusive to Xbox 360.
That is of course what they have always stuck by since the beginning, but it doesn’t explain why a Sony representative appears to say otherwise.
This story is certainly not over yet, so we will be keeping our eyes open for any further developments.
If the episodes were to make their way to the PlayStation 3, it would be an embarrassment for Microsoft who have for a long time hyped up the episodes as an important part of their Xbox 360 library.

not too surprised by the denial, but i think it is coming
i would like to have the downloads, though they would have to be cheaper since the lost and damned one has been out for a while.
What…………. thats totally not what I heard, nor what I would expect. I think they were saying “…..before the end of september” under their breath. Like thecelebrator says above, DENIAL… We know it’s the first sign.
Not fussed really. I’m done with this game, so I doubt I would purchase any further content. I had a real issue with the graphics as well.
yikes I am equally guilty of sort of being done with the game, though I just decided I plan to go back. Previously I was disappointed with the graphics. BUT, Then this recent scenario, I played Infamous, then Prototype and at first I felt like prototype graphics were slightly disappointing after infamous, but then the addiction set in, and I realized that for the whole scope of the game thay are literally amazing and I cannot even conceive with my little pea brain how they put it all together so rather well. SO, depriving myself of playing considerable more GTA, a game i thought i had to have, is probably only fair.
Yeah, the game isn’t that good! I got over the GTA story line ages ago San Andreas was fresh this is just a remake
