Solution found for Heavy Rain trophies
Back in June of this year, Quantic Dream expressed their concern of implementing trophies into Heavy Rain, explaining giving gamers a shiny reward for completing goals in the game was not something they were looking to achieve.
Well, as you may know, Sony has made it mandatory that all games for the system must support the much-loved achievement system.
Speaking to Eurogamer, it now appears that they have come up with a solution. David Cage, founder of the studio, had this to say:
We found a solution. We understand that it can be important for many players and we wanted to support the system anyway, so we found something that is not destructive for the game, where you’re not disturbed by the Trophies as you play.
So what is their magic solution? It’s pretty simple really:
We will probably display them between the scenes, so you know what you’ve achieved, but at the same time isn’t an obstruction as you play.
