Confirming to VG247, SCEE have clarified the recent mammoth time slot quoted for Sony’s conference next week at Gamescom noting that the actual presentation will last “just over an hour” with the added time required “for people to sit down.” Obviously Sony will be hiding the chairs around Cologne if it takes two whole hours to find your seat.

Or maybe they’re anticipating some really drunk people. Actually, we’ll be at Gamescom – maybe they’ve got wind that we were coming?

The all important “talking part” will start at “around 7 PM CET”. Patrick over at VG247 has supplied a handy time-zone conversion for all you people in different parts of the world wanting to tune in for the event. We say: “Go look it up. Now is a great time to familiarise yourself with the concept of world time.”
