We’ve no idea why it’s taken so damn long, but it appears our American readers will finally be able to get their hands on something us Europeans have enjoyed for months now.

Drake’s inaugural adventure, the seminal and beloved Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune, will enter the annals of the Greatest Hits on August 16th and be available to purchase at a fraction of its normal price.

That fraction being a little more than half.

The criteria for getting into the Platinum, Greatest Hits or Japan’s “The Best” range is a convoluted algorithm of such a mind-numbing magnitude that we’re not going to drag up sales charts or waffle on about market penetration etc. etc.

Needless to say, Drake for $29.99? If you’re one of the few PS3 people out there who hasn’t enjoyed the game for whatever reason, you now have no excuse.

Perfect timing with the sequel just around the corner.
