Another nugget dropped during the Sony speech yesterday (although this time on Twitter), popular music video service VidZone is set to stretch its musical wings and launch across numerous European countries before the year is out.

Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Norway, New Zealand, Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Austria, Switzerland and Portugal are all about to get Sony’s answer to MTV.

If MTV still played music that is.

Still no sign of the service coming to NA but, hey, what more do you want? The price of a PS3 stateside is now $299. Convert €299 into dollars. Trust us – you’re not doing too badly.
