Alive & Undead announced for the PSN

Submitted by on Monday, 28 September 2009No Comment

Alive & UndeadSwedish developer Shortfuse Games have announced their latest creation for the PSN titled Alive & Undead. The game will pit you and a friend against hordes of undead creatures in this “brutal, uncensored vampire quest sprinkled with clichés of both side-scrolling beat-em-ups and sub culture phenomena.”

Players have the choice of two characters; Mr. Smith, an Elvis impersonator turned vampire or Welson, a femme-fatal witch hunter. Together, the duo with battle their way through monsters and other nasty creatures in this new take on the classic beat’em up genre; enemy juggling included.

We can only hope that the bloodsucking Edward Cullen is one of the bosses and that we get to drive a stake through his heart. Too brutal? Tell that to Mr. Smith who just killed his entire family and is now in search of the one who made him this way. It’s a bite or get bitten world out there…

Alive & Undead is due out fall of 2010. Be sure to check out Shortfuse’s website for all the latest info on the game.
