Dante’s latest trip though Hell takes him to the tortuous land of the greedy. There, he will bear witness to sinners beg for mercy as they are ripped to shreds by both Hell and Dante himself.
The developer’s diary for Greed showcases this along with delving deeper into Dante’s past as a crusader. Welcome to the fourth circle of Hell…
Unlike the rest of the Underworld, Greed is filled with gears, cogs, and puzzle-like machinery, not to mention the Wheel of Fortune. This wheel controls all of Greed. How? We’re not sure but it’ll be interesting to see how it all plays out.
We find the tapestry sewn into Dante’s chest the most interesting point in the video. It’s something we have failed to notice in the past and now we can’t take our eyes off it. Watch the video and see for yourselves.
I am looking forward to this title. If only to fill in the gaps where I only barely skimmed some of the lines to write a paper in high school literature.(sorry MRS Morris, I was very busy). I think talking newborn babies, like from Clive’s Jericho, and the strangley moving double vision characters in Hell Realm in Folkore were slightly unsettling, I cannot wait to see what these people dreamed up after Dead Space. Oh yea, lwr mw not forget the freaky exploding dolls from Condenmed2 Bloodshot. I wouldnt want hanging around my house either.
