Fallout 3 DLC; GOTY edition dated

Submitted by on Thursday, 17 September 2009No Comment

Fallout 3True to their post-apocalyptic word, Bethesda have narrowed down “the end of September” a little and have announced that the PS3 flavour of Fallout 3 DLC will commence with Broken Steel on September 24th.

This will be followed up with Operation Anchorage and The Pitt on October 1st with the final two add-ons, Point Lookout and the alien themed Mothership Zeta, completing the package on October 8th.

If you’re looking for something new for Fallout 3 right now, however, feel free to boot up the game again and avail of the new 1.61 update.

Not a lot here to be be honest, but it does allow you to view Trophies in the trophy menu (rather than having to do a comparison to see them) and bootstraps in support for the upcoming DLC.

All we need now is no life in order to invest the hundreds of hours needed to complete it all.

Finally, for those who have yet to pick up the title, the Fallout 3: Game of the Year Edition (which contains all of the upcoming DLC) will hit stores on October 13th.
