Welcome back to PS3 Attitude. You're a regular here, so why not visit PS3 Attitude TV too...

final fantasy viiiFinal Fantasy VIII is now available to download from the Japan PlayStation Store.

Will FFVIII be released in Europe and North America soon?

There is no doubt that Japan has tons of PSone Classics to download. The number is seriously in the hundreds. Only recently has the US PSN been getting the titles that people want. No such luck in Europe though.

Seeing as Final Fantasy VII and Final Fantasy Tactics have been released outside of Japan, it only seems logical that VIII will soon follow. Considering the success of Final Fantasy VII on the PSN, and the fact that it is still one of the top downloaded games, Square Enix should not miss this opportunity to make more fans happy.

We’ll keep you updated on the status of FFVIII releasing outside of Japan. Until then, don’t forget to tell us which PSone Classics you would want to see on the PSN.
