Free Arkham Aslyum DLC inbound for September 17th

Most of you are probably too busy playing the actual game to be watching the menu screen of Batman: Arkham Asylum. If you look closely towards the bottom of the screen though, you’ll see a news ticker.
Normally these aren’t too exciting/newsworthy, but free DLC is always awesome, especially for such a great game.
The news tidbit states that free DLC will be coming in nine days. That puts us on Thursday, September 17th, just in time for the weekly PSN Store update.
No word on what sort of downloadable content we shall receive. Could it be challenge rooms? An extra mode? New playable characters? Only the Joker knows…

Got this about 5 minutes ago!!!
I downloaded the Joker just incase when i get batman i dont have to buy it if they start charging for it.
Haven’t played this one m’self yet, as I’m a flight sim tragic so am going all IL-2 for the next few weeks, but about half my friends list have been playing it and they reckon it’s the bees knees – perhaps a little short, and maybe lacking on the replay value (although that’s just a couple of opinions, and not necessarily mine), but it’s at least a must play through once kinda game. And DLC can only make that better

my money is on scarecrow challenge maps. if you ever preorder anything from Gamestop, the item you get is usually going to be available to everyone else. like demo codes. i’d pay money to bet it is scarecrow challenge maps. oh, and btw, i love this game, and the scarecrow levels are creepy <:^O
More content for an excellent game. Oh and it’s at that magic price point to boot. Awesome.
Now, must get back to solving the Riddler’s challenges.
I got a few more riddler challenges, and then it’s on to the Challenges Maps! (I don’t know if I’ll I can get 3 medals on all of them. It will be a test of patience which I’m running very short of these days)
