Garry Schyman creating Dante’s Inferno’s score
Award winning composer Garry Schyman, who has developed scores for games such as Bioshock and Destroy All Humans!, can add another to his ever growing list.
Announced by Visceral Games, Schyman will be in charge of capturing the music of Hell for Dante’s Inferno.
From television, to film, to video games, Schyman has done it all. Even with all these projected under his belt, Dante’s Inferno has been quite a challenge for him…
“Scoring Dante’s Inferno was one of the most interesting and challenging projects I have ever tackled,” said Garry Schyman. “Literally being asked to score hell was fantastic especially once I saw the surrealistically frightening world that Visceral Games had developed. I thought long and hard about every piece of music I wrote to create something new, surprising and fitting. It has turned out to be one of the most creative experiences in my career.”
Even if you’re not interested playing Dante’s Inferno, you can still get your hands on the soundtrack in early 2010, same as the games release date in February.
