TGS09; LittleBigPlanet and Resident Evil 5 motion controller demo in video

Submitted by on Friday, 25 September 20094 Comments

sony-motion-controllerYesterday we reported on the news that both LittleBigPlanet and Resident Evil 5 had been demoed with Sony’s unnamed motion controller at TGS 09.

If you wanted to see it for yourselves, you will be glad to know that we have found a video for each game’s demonstration.

The purpose of the controller in LittleBigPlanet is for interaction with elements inside the environments without the use of your Sackboy. This kind of gameplay is probably more suited with two people as you still need the DualShock 3 to control your Sackboy.

The Resident Evil 5 demo is very similar to how the series can be played on the Wii as we’re sure you’ll agree, so there is nothing unique there.

Now that you have seen the videos for yourselves, tell us what you think and whether your opinion has changed about the use of the device in the two games now that you have seen them through your own eyes.
