madcatz 240x136 custom Mad Catz Street Fighter IV Peripherals: Round 2Mad Catz has announced that they are unleashing more Street Fighter IV goodies for fighting game fanatics. It appears that they want to capitalize on the overly successful first round of peripherals released in February. Who can blame them? They were great.

Find out which six characters will be featured on the Mad Catz FightPad and get a look at the new TE FightStick.

Capcom Unity has posted the press release for the next wave of controllers from Mad Catz. They are aesthetically a massive improvement over the first round.

M. Bison, C. Viper, Sagat, Cammy, Guile, and The Red Cyclone, Zangief will each be displayed on the new FightPad controllers. As for the FightStick, there is a new image with a collage of characters from Street Fighter IV. It’s not too fancy, but luckily these arcade sticks can be easily modded.

Having used numerous FightPads, they still hold up very well even after months of wear and tear. They work wonderfully for games like Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix, Street Fighter IV, Marvel vs Capcom 2, and King of Fighters XII. If you’re looking for a cheap controller for fighting games and don’t want to use a stick, then this is great to have as it can improve your game considerably.

The Tournament Edition FightStick needs no introduction. It really is the best around. If you are serious about fighting games, then you need this.

The FightPad controllers are priced at $39.99 and the TE FightStick is priced at $149.99. We’ll keep you updated when the release date is announced. For now, take a look at the glorious images below.
