No, this isn’t a new Metal Gear Solid game.
MGS: Philanthropy is a fan made movie that has been in the making since 2002. The project has no budget and is non-profit, but don’t let that deter you from the potential greatness this film can achieve. They even have the singer of an iconic MGS theme doing the films ending track.
The movie will be distributed online for FREE. So what’s it about and when does it come out?
Sony today has confirmed the final release date for Uncharted 2 in Europe, and it isn’t too far off.
October 16th is the date to put into your diary, and that happens to be only one day after the North America release.

September 22nd marks the one year anniversary of Mega Man 9. Capcom has informed us that they plan on doing something special to celebrate.
It has been some time – three years in fact since EA’s ’2006 World Cup’ title – but the Dutch national team are making an official comeback to the FIFA franchise.
The team, who have various nicknames such as ‘Oranje’, ‘The Flying Dutchmen’ and ‘A Clockwork Orange’, were not allowed to be included in previous FIFA outings due to a disagreement between EA and the Royal Netherlands Football Association (Koninklijke Nederlandse Voetbal Bond or KNVB in The Netherlands).

Comet Crash was released last April on the North American PSN Store. Finally, our European friends will be able to defend their towers from the massive waves of enemy ships when the game is released October 8th. Unfortunately there will be no cross-continental games occurring because the game only features offline multiplayer. Bummer.

No news if this one will ever hit the PS3 and, considering the first Witcher game failed to release on consoles due to financial issues over at the Polish studio, we wouldn’t be surprised if this stayed PC only.

Confirming to Joystiq that they won’t be discussing why their far into development Aliens RPG suddenly got canned this year until February (of 2011), Obsidian Entertainment have revealed some good news indicating how it wasn’t a total waste of time.
The engine created for the game will be used in an upcoming unannounced title.
