If we asked you guys which brand you think is cooler, PlayStation or Xbox, we would predict that the vast majority of you would go with the former. After all, you are on a PS3 news website so we couldn’t expect any different.

But how about other people, specifically in the UK?

The Centre for Brand Analysis has compiled their 2009 list of the 500 coolest brands in the United Kingdom from a sample of 2,500 people and the PlayStation brand is right up there sitting in tenth place. Sadly though, it was beaten by Nintendo who come in at fifth place.

However, PlayStation did just manage to beat their other big rival, Xbox, who sit at eleventh place.

As for the very top brand, that goes to the iPhone.
