Get Your Rock(Band) on with Double Microphone Edition
Welcome back. You're a regular here, so why not follow us on Twitter too...
The Beatles: RockBand has been available for some time now.
While some of us have taken the jump and are loving the Rock God lifestyle*, we know that there are some of you out there who might not have embraced the new wave of music game just yet.
It seems that Harmonix are aware of this too, as they have put together a tempting new musical package.
Aware that the much-vaunted three-part harmony boasted by the game may be missed by those who already own the instruments, a new edition of The Beatles: Rock Band is available to purchase now.
It includes two microphones to compliment the full band set that was originally released.
We can’t help but feel that this release is a bit late to the table; those who had the original RB1 or 2 kit and wanted to game would have made the purchase by now. Those who didn’t have the kit from a previous release would have started a band via the full kit, released with the software included.
Either way, we hope that this encourages people to pick up the game if they have not done so as yet. And in case you were wondering, wireless SingStar mics work with the other Rock Band disks, too!
Have you embarked upon a musical world conquest? How’s that working out for you?
*Rock Gods being peaceable, placid and relaxed creatures, naturally!

Am I the only person to find it strange that they don’t use the same solution the wired Sing Star microphones do? One usb-connected breakout box – two microphones plugged in. That way, those who own Sing Star can use their existing microphones and not run out of USB ports. Currently only one of the two sing star microphones will work when connected through the breakout box.
