SCEA files trademark for TV Superstars
On September 11, SCEA filled a trademark for “TV Superstars.” The title includes “computer game and video game software” for “operating a real-time game for others over global and local area computer networks.”
So what exactly does this mean?
We’re not 100% sure but the word on the internet is that it’s Sony’s response to Xbox Live’s 1 vs. 100 where players test their knowledge to win Microsoft Points. It’s also interesting to note that Sony filed another trademark for “Numblast” on the same date for the same two categories. Now this could just be Sony preparing for many of their upcoming products or the two could somehow be related.
If SCEA do decide to create a live PSN game in which you can win cash and prizes, would you play? Tell us in the comments as well as your theories on what TV Superstars is.
