Valkyria Chronicles2 SEGA; Buy Valkyria Chronicles II and series may return to PS3Love Valkyria Chronicles? Do you want the series to return to the PS3?

SEGA has recently released a new comment on the PlayStation Blog hyping fans up for a possible continuation of the series on the PS3.

What’s the catch? Just buy Valkyria Chronicles II for the PSP, of course!

Is this just another tease from SEGA?

In the recent comment at the EU PlayStation Blog, SEGA’s Aaron Webber said the following regarding the lack of Valkyria Chronicles II on the PS3:

“So far it seems like most of the fans are really just happy to see the series continue – and, if VCII sells well, it means a much greater chance that the series can pick up again back on a larger console, like the PS3.” – Aaron Webber, Assistant Community Manager for SEGA of America

We agree, we are happy! It’s great that the series is actually going to be continued, even if it disappointingly isn’t on the PS3. With that said, we are even happier to know that the series could possibly return to the PS3 if VCII sells well. The series deserves it with its beautiful visuals and great gameplay.

SEGA has been giving a lot of love lately, and it’s thanks to the support of its fans. Let’s summarize the recent announcements: More DLC for Valkyria Chronicles, Yakuza 3 might get localized,  SEGA wants fans to unite and tell them that they want trophies in VC, and now the series may return to the PS3. Oh my!

If you haven’t joined Squad Seven yet, Walmart is selling the game for $19.96, so go pick it up while you can. Maybe this price drop can increase sales by another 400% and ‘wow’ SEGA once more.
