xmb1 Sony looking to make font and icon size changes optionalThe users of the PlayStation Network have voiced their opinion and Sony has replied. Based on the feedback from Firmware 3.0, Sony has decided to put a Firmware 3.0 Q&A up on the European PlayStation Blog.

The first thing you will notice in Firmware 3.0 is that the font and icon sizes are noticeably larger. Many PS3 owners did not like this addition to Firmware 3.0.

PS3 owners should be relieved to read the following reply from Sony:

“Based on your feedback, we are looking at the possibility of making the changes optional.”  – Mark Bowles, PS3 Brand Manager

We at PS3Attitude welcome the possibility of making changes like this optional for all PS3 owners. When we reported Firmware 3.01 is on the way, we had a great discussion regarding the possibility of making the features of the XMB customizable.
