Calling All Cars servers are headed to the junkyard
Calling All Cars was released in May of 2007 on the PlayStation Network, back when the PS3 was still in its infancy. While it did gain a good fanbase (mostly due to the game coming free with one year Qore subscribers), everything must come to an end at some point.
Come January 14th, players will no longer be able to connect to the game’s online servers as they will not exist.
If you currently log online to play Calling All Cars, you’ll be greeted by the following message:
“On January 14, 2010 the servers for Calling All Cars will be taken off-line. We would like to thank ya for yar support.”
This gives you a few more months of online criminal capturing with your friends. No worries though as you can still play the game offline after the servers have been shut down.
