Sony Pictures Home Entertainment in conjunction with Sony Computer Entertainment America have announced that the upcoming Blu-ray release of ‘District 9′, which is scheduled to be released on December 29th, will feature a demo of the upcoming PS3-exclusive game ‘God of War III’. After completing the demo, which is only playable on a PS3, users will be able to unlock an exclusive ‘God of War III’ making-of featurette.

We’re sure that if District 9 was to be released before the God of War Collection, this bonus would seem a lot more enticing to the fans of the series. How many of you would buy the movie AND the collection if that were the case? Regardless, the God of War Collection is releasing on November 17th, so if you want your demo as soon as possible, get it from the collection.
