GamesAid confirms their supported charities

Submitted by on Friday, 30 October 20092 Comments

gamesaidGamesAid has confirmed which charities they will be donating at least £11,000 to as a result of their fundraising, where PS3 Attitude plays a big part in raising money for the organisation.

The Royal Hospital for Neuro Disability, The Willow Foundation, Action for Kids, Special Effect and Winston’s Wish have all been voted to receive the donation, with one final charity still to be announced.

The organisation are focused at raising money for a diverse range of charities with a particular focus on smaller ones that focus around helping young children.

Back in April we donated our entire revenue from the site including money raised from advertising and affiliate sales to GamesAid, and we are continuing to generate even more cash as the site expands.

Just recently the auction ended for a Gold-plated Apple iPod touch, but unfortunatly it did not meet the reserve price we set. More details on this item in the future.

There are many ways that you can help us to raise even more money for GamesAid such as through donations or by simply becoming a member and commenting on our articles to help the site grow.

Another great way to raise awareness of PS3 Attitude is by joining our twitter and every Tuesday we run PSFree Attitude, where we give away great prizes such as free games and bonus content.
