God of War Collection Delayed
Welcome back. You're a regular here, so why not follow us on Twitter too...
The God of War Collection has already been postponed in the EU.
Now it seems that the delay-hammer has struck a new nerve in the shape of a week-long hold on the US release of the much-anticipated title.
The news comes via a mass email sent out by Amazon.com:
Hello from Amazon.com.
We have received new release date information related to your pre-ordered video game in the order you placed. The release date for the video game listed below has been changed by the publisher, and we want to provide you with a new delivery estimate based on the new release date:
“God of War: Collection”
Release date: November 17 2009
Now what has caused this, we wonder?
Either a) a certain shooter scared even this mammoth release off for a week, b) an extra week was needed to iron out some last-minute foibles, or c) some other reason we didn’t think of in the past few minutes.
No matter what the cause of the delay, you can bet that the God of War Collection is going to go down well when it hits shelves on November 19th.
Sadly, if you are in the EU, it will be a bit more of a wait.

How about d)Too many great games are currently out and we need to play catch up.
Ooooh… that’s good.
…Why didn’t I think of that?!?
Too busy looking for your pants?
I’m going with d).
Well, I reckon that a single week would make no difference to the current glut of games.
But it will be offset from the release of one of the most hyped games of the year…
(over-hyped?)
