A new video has surfaced that shows the concept boxart for the highly anticipated Gran Turismo 5.

Now what makes this interesting is that you can clearly see three cases within the pack, not just one.

Obviously the game will be on Blu-ray so has creative director Kazunori Yamauchi managed to use up all the space… twice?

There has been no explanation made on the video and when Joystiq requested any comment from Sony, they gave the usual “no comment”.

The most likely reason is that it’s some kind of Collectors edition, and perhaps the other discs are DVDs so that you don’t require a Blu-ray player to play the extra content.

It would be great if they could pack in a Top Gear series or two wouldn’t it?

Kazunori Yamauchi did say that the Mercedes’ 2011 SLS AMG is likely to be on the final front cover because he believes it “will probably be the most exciting car in the world” at the game’s launch.
